Best time to get SMP

When is the best time to get a Scalp Micropigmentation treatment?

Well, one of the considerations is the sun and the sea. If you will be frolicking in the sun and dipping into the sea, you might want to wait till you are back home. Sun and salt water are not welcome when you have a freshly treated scalp. These elements tend to suck out the pigment and lighten the work painstakingly done.

Fall, winter and spring, therefore, are the best options for getting your SMP treatments! As in, right now!

How SMP has impacted one woman’s life

Liz* came to me for Scalp Micropigmentation. She is a wife and mother of two. Since college days, she has struggled with hair loss.

Powders, hair pieces, and Rogaine just didn’t do it for Liz. She was so self-conscious about her hair loss, that she didn’t even allow her husband to see her without her powder. She was terrified of “being exposed”. It was a deep emotional need to protect herself that kept her fearful and cautious.

After her SMP sessions she is experiencing a new and wonderful freedom. She faces life with confidence. Even at home she feels comfortable in her own skin.

What a fabulous feeling it gives me to be able to gift a person with this sense of confidence and freedom!

Are you a candidate for SMP?

Most people concerned about hair loss are candidates for Scalp Micropigmentation. Whether you are male or female, most of you can benefit from this procedure.

If you want to keep your hair long and add density, this will work for you .

If you want to create a shaved head with the look of a full head of hair, this is for you!

The only times we have a concern about the appropriateness of this treatment is if you have a physical condition such as pregnancy or other issues where your health is compromised.

The other concern would be if you were opting for hair density, if there was not enough hair on your head to camouflage the tattooed dots placed in your scalp.

Otherwise, you are most likely a person who would benefit from the SMP procedure.
